I have enjoyed making cards for Thanksgiving and Christmas these past few months, and before I jump into Valentine's Day creations, I thought I would make a few New Year cards.
Stampin' Up! has the set "Warm Hearted" as one of the Host Sets in the 2018 Holiday Catalog, and I love the sayings in this set. I used the "Merry Christmas" sentiment on my Christmas cards, and have decided to use the "Cheers to the New Year" sentiment for my New Year's cards this year.
As you can see above, I used Soft Suede as my card base along with Soft Suede ink to stamp the stars from the Warm Hearted set onto Very Vanilla card-stock.
Next I embossed a piece of Cherry Cobbler with the Tin Tile Dynamic embossing folder. I stamped my New Year's sentiment in Cherry Cobbler, and put all the pieces together for this creation.
I like to finish off my cards by stamping the inside with either a design or sentiment (or both!). This is what I decided on for these cards because I plan to write a little note inside.
